After more than 150 years, JUNETEENTH—which marks the ceremonial end of enslavement in the United States—is now a national holiday.  Joining us in tribute for this special episode are are the founder, members, and friends of Farm Arts Collective—Damascus, PA’s new Agri/Cultural Center on the Delaware River at Willow Wisp Organic Farm.

Over the past decade, FarmArts Collective has become known for great food and well-seasoned food for thought. Gathering in the studios of Radio Catskill in Liberty, New York, the conversation turns to the importance of storytelling, theatre, and community-driven ecosystems to a thriving society.

Hear personal stories, like that of Lillian Walker and a performances of Langston Hughes' poem, "I Too Sing America." Delve into the power of historical fiction with "Waymaker" series author, Tasa Faronii.  Consider the interconnectedness of history, ecology, and culture with the cast and crew.

An inspired episode and invitation to the Juneteenth Celebration at Farm Arts Collective. this Juneteenth tribute isn't just about an event; it's a call to share, listen, and engage with neighbors and make new friends.
